Cocktail Drink Recipe - The Citrine

There seems to be a widely perpetrated rumor that Tequila is only a summer drink, wasting away in Margaritaville and such comes to mind....... With this cocktail we\'d like to suggest you keep drinking it through the colder months and learn to appreciate it\'s peppery qualities and soul warming nature. A dash of cayenne pepper added to this drink is sure to light a fire and bring a flush to wintry cheeks.
-1 oz clove infused citrus liqueur (just throw a small handful of cloves in and let it brew overnight, if you don\'t have the time to wait grind the cloves in a food processor, add to the booze and call it done)
- 1/2 oz chokecherry juice or tart pure cherry juice (no sugar added, this can be purchased at most bourgeois groceries these days)
- small splash grapefruit juice
- dash Cayenne pepper, more if you're a real hot head
-5 dashes DRAM Citrus Medica Bitters
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker over ice. Shake well, strain into a glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel, or a candied citrus rind if you\'re real fancy.
