Raspberry vinaigrette made with Sage Bitters
It's finally warm here in Colorado which means we have fresh garden greens in abundance and have been enjoying a little salad with nearly every meal. If you haven't had the opportunity to grow fresh greens, a salad mix from the grocery will work just fine!
-2 tablespoons good Olive Oil
-1/2 tablespoon Raspberry Vinegar
-1/4 tablespoon fresh honey or agave
-fresh cracked black pepper
-1/2 tablespoon DRAM Wild Mountain Sage Bitters
-small pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients in a glass or stainless steel bowl and whisk until properly combined. You can prep this dressing hours before serving but the greens must be freshly dressed and served immediately as the acid in the vinegar will quickly wilt them.
This makes for a lovely and unique summer salad. Add extra veggies or nuts to your hearts content!
