Gin Cocktail Drink Recipe: The Gin Jammer

The Gin Jammer. A famous cocktail, dreamed up during my days as a bartender at a cozy little place in Denver known as City O' City. The Gin Jammer is a combination of ingredients so simple that once you taste it you'll understand the pure magic, like it was meant to be.

I must say, cheap lemonade and cheap jam will ruin this drink. It's important to make your own or buy high quality brands that don't include high fructose corn syrup, flavorings of any kind or dyes. A smooth jam is suggested, chunks get caught in the straws.

Ingredients:

- 1 1/2 oz. good Gin, we suggest Colorado CapRock Gin

- 2 oz. good lemonade, the more tart the better

- 1 tbsp ANY flavor of jam, seriously any flavor works!

- 3 shakes DRAM Citrus Medica Bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake very very well to pulverize the jam. It's your choice wether you want to strain the this drink or not, I prefer to just dump the mixture into a cocktail glass and get on with the festivities.
