Non-Alcoholic Recipe: Green Veggie Drink with Citrus Bitters
Love to make juices and smoothies? Throw some bitters in there for an extra dose of herbal goodness! We used a Vitamix to make this green drink, but any old juicer or blender will do. As always, we strongly suggest purchasing organic produce if possible.
- 1.5 cups washed spinach
- juice of one lemon
- juice of one orange
- 1/2 peeled cucumber
- 1 cup washed kale
- 3 stalks washed celery
- 1/2 cup broccoli sprouts, available at most health food stores
- 2 apples
- 2 tablspoons peeled fresh ginger
- DRAM Citrus Medica Bitters
Add all ingredients to a blender, juicer or vitamix with about a cup of water. Blend until smooth. If using a regular blender you may want to strain the drink through a fine sieve for a more juice-like consistency. Enjoy!
